2022 Asphalt Patch & Overlay

Project # 1 (35th Avenue) of the 2022 Asphalt Reconstruction Project consists of roto-milling the entire surface of existing asphalt pavement to a depth of three (3) inches, placement of a fiberglass reinforcing micro-filament, and placement of a three (3) inch top lift of hot mix asphalt Grading SX, SP 64-22, adjusting of existing water valves, sanitary sewer manholes, and storm drain manholes which are to be ¼” inch below the asphalt surface.  Concrete collars will be installed around existing utility box structures and manholes per city of Evans specifications, re-installing 2’ wide thermoplastic stop bars and crosswalks at signalized intersections as dictated. Re-installing of all roadway striping with epoxy paint per City of Evans Specifications.

Project # 2 (Tuscany Street) of the 2022 Asphalt Reconstruction Project consists of roto-milling the entire surface of existing asphalt pavement to a depth of two (2) inches, tacking and placement of a two (2) inch top lift of hot mix asphalt Grading SX, SP 64-22, adjusting of existing water valves, sanitary sewer manholes, and storm drain manholes which are to be ¼” inch below the asphalt surface.  Concrete collars will not be installed around existing utility box structures and manholes, instead the utilities will be raised to grade prior to paving and asphalt will surround the utility boxes and manholes, installing 2’ wide thermoplastic stop bars at stop sign intersections as dictated.

Project # 3 (37th Street) of the 2022 Asphalt Reconstruction Project consists of roto-milling the entire surface of existing asphalt pavement to a depth of two (2) inches, tacking and placement of a two (2) inch top lift of hot mix asphalt Grading SX, SP 64-22, Re-installing of four (4) inch edge stripes, and eight (8) inch yellow double centerline using epoxy paint per city of Evans Specifications.

Project # 4 (32nd Street / 34th Street Speed Bumps) of the 2022 Asphalt Reconstruction Project consists of installing four (4) separate speed bumps.  The work requires roto-milling a two foot wide edge perimeter for each of the four (4) speed bumps, tacking and placement of a three and a half inch (3 1/2) inch thick asphalt mat of hot mix asphalt Grading SX, SP 64-22 The ramp shall consist of six (6) foot tapered ramps on each side of the ten (10) foot landing pad, Installing of two (2) Speed Bump Chevrons, on each lane direction using thermoplastic symbols, and placement of two (2) speed bump signs at each bump per city of Evans Specifications.
