Free Opioid overdose reversal medication available

In an effort to combat the growing opioid crisis in Colorado, the Evans Police Department is offering free Naloxone to the public. Naloxone is available at three locations in the Evans Community Complex: the customer service area, the Police Department, and the Recreation Department. Just ask one of our representatives and they'll be happy to provide you with a box. It could save someone's life....
 

Opioid overdoses are a crisis in Colorado.Did you know? From 2020-2021, more than 100 people died of an opioid overdose in Weld County and more than 2,000 people statewide. That's why the city is offering the free boxes of Naloxone that can save someone's life if they O.D. The instructions are on the box, but Naloxone is an extremely safe, effective way to treat someone who has overdosed.
