Business Licensing
Please note, that applications for business licenses, including temporary licenses for door-to-door sales, are handled by the City Clerk's Office and not through the Building Division. If you have questions about obtaining a business license in the City of Evans, please contact the Clerk's office at (970) 475-1101 or cityclerk@evanscolorado.gov
In April, a culvert that conveys water from the Evans Ditch under 49th Street in the vicinity of 35th Avenue suffered a catastrophic failure forcing a road closure. Due to irrigation needs and utility constraints, repairs are scheduled for early fall after the irrigation season. 49th Street in this area will remain closed until repair work is completed.
