Evans City Council meeting and work session tonight (1)

The Evans City Council will hold their bi-monthly meeting tonight at the Evans Community Complex. A work session is slated to begin at 5pm, and the regular meeting will begin at 7pm. 
What's on the agenda?
Work Session
  • The 2026 budget process continues as the City's CFO will present an overview of supplies and services costs, general fund reserves and capital projects. 
  • The Communications Office will provide the Council with an update on City communications efforts.

Regular Meeting

  • New Evans Police Chief Randall Darlin will swear in new Evans police officers
  • The council will be presented with an amended development agreement for Filing No. 2, phase 5c of the Liberty Draw development for consideration. 
  • The City Planner will present the Council will a resolution pertaining to the findings of fact related to the annexation of small parcel of land for industrial uses. 
  • A public hearing on the aforementioned annexation and initial zoning will be held. 
  • The council will be provided with details about the purchase of a new street sweeper for the Public Works Department. 
  • The council will consider a resolution for the sale of unused City equipment.
