37th Street Update - Aug. 2025

Work on the 37th Street widening project continues to progress as planned. All underground infrastructure work has been completed and passed inspection, large portions of the sidewalks have been poured, as have segments of the curb and gutter and center median. The subgrade of the roadway is current being placed and work will begin later this week to place the road base.

The engineering work for the installation of street lights, which will line the roadway from the 47th Avenue roundabout to intersection with 35th Avenue is nearly complete. The bottom mat of asphalt is scheduled to be placed in the first half of September. The roadway will remain closed so as to allow for a more expedited work process and ensure the safety of the work crews. We still anticipate full completion of the project in November, 2025.
