City Cleanup Day set for Saturday April 25

Evans Community Cleanup Event Scheduled for April 25, 2026

The City of Evans will host its next Evans Community Cleanup Event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 3323 1st Avenue. This event is designed to assist Evans residents by supplementing weekly trash service with an opportunity to dispose of large or bulky household trash and debris in a convenient and responsible manner.

Who Can Participate

Evans utility customers who pay for trash service through their utility bill are eligible to participate.

Cleanup vouchers are required and cost $15 per voucher. Vouchers may be purchased:

  • At the Evans Community Complex customer service windows, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • At the gate on the day of the event

Credit and debit cards are the preferred payment method. Residents will need to present proof of Evans residency either in the form of a government issued ID or a current City of Evans utility bill. 

Items Accepted

The following general household (non-commercial) materials will be accepted:

  • Household waste

  • Yard waste and leaves

  • Furniture

  • Passenger vehicle tires (fees apply – see pricing below)

  • Scrap iron/metal

  • Refrigerators and freezers

  • E-waste: computer towers, keyboards, mice, printers, and home electronics
    (computer monitors and televisions are not accepted)

  • Tree limbs less than 8 inches in diameter and under 10 feet long

For pricing reasons, residents are strongly encouraged to take tree limbs directly to Greeley Organic Waste, 1150 N. 25th Ave., Greeley (970-673-3718).

Items Not Accepted

  • Dirt, rock, concrete, or roofing shingles

  • Televisions and computer monitors/displays

  • Household hazardous waste (any product labeled “danger,” “warning,” “caution,” or “poisonous”)

    • These items may be taken to 1311 N. 17th Ave., Greeley, CO 80631

  • Air conditioners

  • Construction materials or construction waste

Residents are encouraged to plan ahead, review accepted materials, and take advantage of this opportunity to safely dispose of bulky household items.
