The City of Evans Police Department invites residents to participate in Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sam’s Club parking lot.
This event provides a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired medications. Proper disposal plays a critical role in protecting public health and community safety by preventing accidental poisoning, reducing the risk of misuse or abuse, and keeping harmful substances out of homes and local waterways.
Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to clean out their medicine cabinets and bring unwanted medications for safe disposal. Participation helps protect children, pets, and vulnerable individuals while contributing to a safer, healthier community.
