Evans City Council meeting and work session tonight

The Evans City Council will hold their bi-monthly meeting tonight at the Evans Community Complex. A work session is slated to begin at 5pm, and the regular meeting will begin at 7pm. 
What's on the agenda?
Work Session
  • The 2026 budget process gets underway as the City's CFO will present an overview of City revenue, economic trends and the needs and challenges of the City's enterprise funds. 
  • The Community Development Department - Neighborhood Services Division will provide the Councilmembers with an overview of the City's code enforcement efforts.

Regular Meeting

  • New Evans Police Chief Randall Darlin will take the Oath of Office.
  • Mayor Mark Clark will read a sign an official city proclamation commemorating Parks and Recreation Month 2025. 
  • The Council will consider a on-call contract with Intera Inc. for an on-call water resources engineering services professional services agreement. 
  • Evans City Manager Cody Sims will provide an update on major City projects
