Water Conservation Programs

Throughout the year, the City of Evans, along with our partners at Resource Central and the Weld County Youth Conservation Corps, offer a number of water and money saving programs.

Among the offerings are: 

• Fixture Replacement Program - replace toilets, showerheads and faucets with new, water conserving models. 
• Slow the Flow sprinkler evaluation - have a water conservation expert conduct an evaluation of your sprinkler system and advise on a more optimal watering schedule, upgraded sprinkler heads, range adjustments and more. 
• Lawn Replacement Program - replace your water-thirsty lawn with a beautiful and less-thirsty ornamental garden. Keep your landscaped space looking great and save money! It's a win-win!
• Garden in a Box kits - this program provides plants that look great and are suited to the dry Colorado climate.

These programs are offered at very discounted rates and, in some cases, free of charge. Different programs are available seasonally and space is limited. Other programs that serve the dual purpose of saving you money and conserving water will be available soon.
