In April, a culvert that conveys water from the Evans Ditch under 49th Street in the vicinity of 35th Avenue suffered a catastrophic failure forcing a road closure. Due to irrigation needs and utility constraints, repairs are scheduled for early fall after the irrigation season. 49th Street in this area will remain closed until repair work is completed. Heritage Day Dancers

The City of Evans is excited to plan the community's most cherished event! Heritage Day will begin at City Park on Saturday morning with the parade and pancake breakfast, followed by amusements, food trucks, and local vendors throughout the park.

The evening portion of the event will consist of the beer and spirits garden, food trucks, and live music by Those Crazy Nights at Riverside Park. The night will end with the crowd favorite fireworks extravaganza!

Please come out and join us in celebrating our city's rich history and vibrant culture as we honor and showcase the heritage that has shaped Evans into the beloved city it is today.
