The Evans City Council declared by unanimous vote on April 21 a drought emergency in the City of Evans. In order to make the best, most efficient use of precious water resources, outdoor watering restrictions are in place and will be enforced in accordance with the Evans Municipal Code. What's Happening
Come join officers from the Evans Police Department for free coffee, cold drinks and sweet treats at our local Starbucks. Officers will be available to answer questions, address community concerns and engage with residents in a thoughtful and relaxed environment.
National Night Out is a crime and drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored locally by the Evans Police Department.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for (and participation in) local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized.
To commemorate the 43nd Anniversary of the Event, the City of Evans will be hosting a public event to celebrate National Night Out.
