Evans Express - September 2026
The September 2026 edition of the Evans Express, the City of Evans’ official community newsletter, is now available.
This month’s edition features the latest City news, upcoming events, community programs and helpful resources for Evans residents.
Among the highlights is Evans Heritage Day on Saturday, September 19, featuring a full day of activities beginning with the 5K, pancake breakfast, parade and vendor fair at City Park. The celebration continues that evening at Riverside Park with food trucks, family activities, a beer and spirits garden, live entertainment and a fireworks show scheduled for approximately 8:30 p.m.
Residents can also read about the Evans Police Department’s move into its new facility at 3737 Saint Vrain Street. The modern facility was designed to better support officers and staff while serving the Evans community for years to come.
The September edition also includes information about City Council’s approval of four corridors for Automated Vehicle Identification System (AVIS) speed camera deployment. The City plans to deploy one fixed and one mobile AVIS unit within the approved corridors.
Looking ahead to October, residents can find details about the Fall Community Cleanup on Saturday, October 3. The event is available to City of Evans utility customers who receive trash service through their City utility bill, with cleanup vouchers available for $15.
The newsletter also features updates and information from Evans Police, Neighborhood Services, Parks and Recreation, water conservation and recycling programs, along with details about the Tree Assistance Program, community alerts and upcoming activities.
