Evans Fall Community Cleanup Set for October 3
The City of Evans will host its Fall Community Cleanup Event on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 3323 1st Avenue. The event gives Evans residents an opportunity to dispose of large or bulky household items and debris that may be difficult to accommodate through regular weekly trash service.
The Community Cleanup is available to Evans utility customers who pay for trash service through their City utility bill. Cleanup vouchers are $15 and may be purchased in advance at the Evans Community Complex customer service windows, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vouchers will also be available at the gate on the day of the event. Credit and debit cards are the preferred payment method.
Accepted Items
Residents may bring a variety of household materials, including:
- General household waste, yard waste, leaves and furniture
- Scrap iron and metal
- Refrigerators and freezers
- Passenger vehicle tires (additional disposal fees apply)
- Computer towers, keyboards, mice, printers and other eligible home electronics
- Tree limbs less than eight inches in diameter and under 10 feet long
To help keep the event moving efficiently and keep voucher costs low, participants will be asked to unload materials in designated areas based on the type of refuse.
Items That Cannot Be Accepted
The cleanup event cannot accept dirt, rock, concrete, roofing shingles, televisions, computer monitors or displays, air conditioners, construction materials or household hazardous waste.
Household hazardous waste includes products with words such as “danger,” “warning,” “caution” or “poisonous” on their labels. These materials require specialized disposal and should not be brought to the cleanup site.
The Fall Community Cleanup is part of the City’s ongoing effort to provide residents with convenient options for properly disposing of bulky household waste and keeping Evans neighborhoods clean.
