Evans Heritage Day Returns This Saturday September 19
The City of Evans invites residents and visitors to celebrate the community’s history, culture and spirit at Evans Heritage Day on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The annual celebration will feature a full day of activities at City Park and Riverside Park, including a 5K, free pancake breakfast, parade, food trucks, family amusements, local vendors, live music and an evening fireworks show.
Heritage Day begins at City Park, 3929 Golden St., from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Morning festivities include:
- 8:30 a.m. — 5K at Riverside Park, presented by Balanced Movement. The fun run/walk will benefit Canine Community Heroes, a Northern Colorado nonprofit that helps train and support service and therapy dogs.
- 8:30–10 a.m. — Free pancake breakfast, while supplies last, with live music by Patrick Hesse.
- 10 a.m. — Heritage Day Parade.
- 10 a.m.–2 p.m. — Food trucks, vendor fair and free family amusements.
Following the afternoon activities, the celebration moves to Riverside Park, 4000 Riverside Parkway, from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
The evening festivities will feature food trucks, free family amusements and a beer and spirits garden featuring 477 Distilling, Crabtree Brewing Company, TightKnit Brewing and Yetters Brewing Company.
Live music from Duey & Unbroken will take the stage from 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by the Heritage Day fireworks show at 8:30 p.m. to close out the celebration.
Heritage Day is one of Evans’ signature community traditions, bringing residents, families and visitors together to celebrate the history and community that have helped shape the city.
