The Evans City Council declared by unanimous vote on April 21 a drought emergency in the City of Evans. In order to make the best, most efficient use of precious water resources, outdoor watering restrictions are in place and will be enforced in accordance with the Evans Municipal Code. Freedom Dog Park Reopens Following Completion of Chevron Work

Freedom Dog Park has reopened to the public after Chevron completed work on its former well sites near the park ahead of schedule.

The park was temporarily closed to allow Chevron to safely complete the necessary work. With that work now finished, residents and their four-legged friends can once again enjoy the park.

The City of Evans thanks Chevron for working quickly and efficiently to complete the project ahead of schedule. We also thank the community for its patience and understanding during the temporary closure.

Freedom Dog Park is now open for normal use.
