Freedom Dog Park Temporarily Closed Beginning May 25

Freedom Dog Park is temporarily closed beginning May 25 while Chevron Energy completes plugging, abandoning and shut-in work on an oil and gas well near the park.

The closure is temporary and is being implemented entirely for the safety of residents, visitors and dogs who use the park. The City appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation while this work is completed.

The City will provide an update when Freedom Dog Park has reopened.
