Youth Basketball Registration Now Open

Evans Recreation is now accepting registrations for its K–2nd Grade Youth Basketball program! The program gives young athletes an opportunity to learn basketball fundamentals, develop skills, stay active and have fun in a supportive team environment.

Registration is open through September 27 for children in kindergarten, first grade and second grade. The registration fee is $60 per player, and teams are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations received after September 27 will be subject to a $10 late fee and accepted based on availability.

Practices will be held once per week beginning the week of October 19 at the Evans Recreation Center or a local school. The first games are scheduled for October 31, with games played on Saturdays in Eaton.

Evans Recreation jerseys are available for purchase at the Recreation Center front desk. Sleeveless jerseys are $20 and short-sleeve jerseys are $25.

United Way scholarships are available to help families with registration costs. Contact Evans Recreation for additional information about scholarship assistance.
