City of Evans Seeking Applicants for Planning Commission Vacancy
The City of Evans is currently accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Evans Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission plays an important role in helping guide the future growth and development of the community. Commission members review and make recommendations on matters related to land use, zoning, subdivision proposals, comprehensive planning, and development within the city.
The commission serves as an advisory body to the Evans City Council and helps ensure development decisions align with the City’s long-term vision and community goals.
Planning Commission meetings are generally held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Evans City Hall. Members are appointed by the Evans City Council and serve five-year terms.
Residents with an interest in community development, planning, and civic engagement are encouraged to apply.
