Mayor and Council

The Evans City Council is comprised of seven members - a Mayor and six Councilmembers. The City is divided into three wards based upon geography (east, central and west) and population to assure equal representation for all residents. The Mayor is elected at-large (by the entire City electorate) for a two-year term and two councilmembers are elected from each ward, serving four-year terms with staggered terms.
