The Evans City Council declared by unanimous vote on April 21 a drought emergency in the City of Evans. In order to make the best, most efficient use of precious water resources, outdoor watering restrictions are in place and will be enforced in accordance with the Evans Municipal Code. As Evans continues to grow, the City’s park and recreation facilities will be subject to greater use. It will be important that the park and recreation facilities keep pace with community needs. In order to do so, this plan addresses a number of important park and recreation questions.
